The problem

The service delivery sector is a unique industry specialising in identifying emotional, physical and practical issues that they can help their clients to overcome. However, not all services can offer solutions for all issues raised, even though those issues need logging and monitoring in order to provide the best outcome for the client.

Where a service needs to refer on to another agency, often that information has to be completed on separate forms and information retyped once an agency has been chased for an update, spreading data across many different platforms and applications. This makes data management difficult, not just for staff, but to ensure that data protection laws are upheld.

The solution

DS Outcome allows an organisation to record all issues identified by the client, assess the impact of those issues at the start and throughout the delivery of services, and ensure that issues raised have a defined outcome.

To assist with the management of data, DS Outcome includes a free Multi-Agency Portal which allows the user to choose what data to send to a partner agency, and those agencies can log into the portal and see that data, and add notes to it, which will update DS Outcome instantly, and notify the operator to that update.

The verdict

DS Outcome securely captures all relevant data, defined by each individual organisation, and allows that data to be securely transferred to partner agencies. Not only does it allow and support data transfer, it supports a streamlined working practice, making partner agencies more integral to the client’s journey.
